Against Man City, this is Klopp's special plan to kill Haaland

 

Erling Haaland will be the biggest threat to Liverpool. However, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp already has plans to tackle the Manchester City striker.

Liverpool will receive a visit from Man City in Week 11 of the Premier League 2022/23. The two teams will clash at Anfield on Sunday (16/10/2022).

In this match, Liverpool must be wary of Haaland. The reason is that Haaland has scored many goals after joining the Citizens this season.

The 22year-old now leads the list of the Premier League's top scorers. Haaland has scored 15 goals in just nine games.

Klopp's plan

Jurgen Klopp is well aware that Erling Haaland is very dangerous. To overcome this, he wanted his team to cut off the ball supply to Haaland.

"A special plan against Haaland? As usual, obviously, when you play against the best striker in the world, you have to make sure he doesn't get a lot of balls, "Klopp told the club's official website.

Don't Just Focus on Holland

Klopp also knows that his team should not be too focused on Haaland alone. Besides Haaland, Man City still have players who will be a threat.
